The Longest Ride~Happy Valentine's Day Everyone!!
Have a box of Kleenex close and hold on tight to the hand of your significant other. That's what you do when your baby turns on the TV and plays the movie The Longest Ride based on the book by Nicholas Sparks, Starring Scott Eastwood, Britt Robertson, and Alan Alda. For those of you who love a truly awesome sob-worthy film, this definitely qualifies. This is a wonderful and hard-hitting story about appreciating what's most important in life and learning to leave what's not important behind. As the 57-year-old Grandmother of three; its a life lesson I can appreciate. Truly, there are no guarantees. Not for you; and not for me. The older you get, the more you come to realize that holding those you love close and treasuring every moment of every day you get to spend with them is the real deal and the biggest box of chocolates you can ever give or receive. Take an opportunity to download the movie or read the book. (Amazon link Above is to the book). Sit close to someone you love and be prepared to fall into the lives of two couples; one past, one present and journey with them as they learn that all of life is simply in the choices we make and in the time we spend with those we hold most dear.
